All piercing options are available in both singles and pairs. Choose from a selection of AK design studs to build your dream earring stake.

Frequently asked:

CAN I BRING MY OWN EARRINGS?

We can only offer piercings from our pre-selected studs for safety and cleanliness standards. Our certified piercer professionally cleans and sterilizes each stud prior to our party to ensure the highest quality result.

CAN I GET MY CARTILAGE OR OTHER BODY PARTS PIERCED?

Due to the Town of Wellesley regulations, piercings must be limited to the earlobe.

WHAT EQUIPMENT IS USED FOR THE PIERCING?

Our piercer only uses sterilized needles for each piercing.

WHAT ARE THE OPTIONS FOR EARRINGS?

Once you book your appointment online, you will receive a confirmation email with information regarding our event-exclusive piercing studs. Please ensure that your earrings are ordered by the 6th of April to ensure we will have them in time for each piece to be sent to your certified piercer to be sensitized and cleaned prior to your appointment.

WHAT IS THE COST?

$100 piercing fee. All earrings must be purchased prior to the appointment, no later than a week after the appointment, to be autoclaved, cleaned, and sterilized for the best possible results.

All sales are final.

I DON'T WANT TO GET A PIERCING, CAN I STILL COME TO THE PARTY?

Of course! This party is welcome to everyone! There will be light bits and refreshments whether you are coming to play around with our jewelry collections or shopping around our variety of other women-owned artists. All are welcome to go to the AK party!

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY NEW PIERCING?

  • Leave your jewelry in your new piercing for 6 weeks or more, even at night. Removing your starter jewelry too early may cause the piercing to close.

  • Keep clean:

    • Always wash your hands before touching newly pierced areas. This helps prevent infection.

    • Gently wash your piercing with a mild, fragrance-free cleanser and water at least once a day. This, too, helps prevent infection.

    • Thoroughly rinse your piercings after washing them. You want to rinse away the soap thoroughly. Be sure to avoid getting water in places like your ear.

    • Avoid cleaning your piercing with hydrogen peroxide or antibacterial soaps, which can damage your healing skin.

  • Using petroleum jelly that comes in a squeeze tube, gently apply a thin coat around each opening. You always want to use a squeeze tube because it will prevent you from transferring germs from an open jar to your piercings. The petroleum jelly will also keep the piercing moist, which is important because a moist wound heals faster.

  • Keep an eye on your piercing. If the skin around your piercing gets sore, red, or puffy, or a hole oozes yellowish liquid, you may have an infection. See a board-certified dermatologist if any of these don't go away quickly. If the skin around your piercing raises, you may develop a type of scar called a keloid.
