Piercing Party: Where Jewelry, Wellness, and Style Meet

On October 4th, from 11am to 6pm, three local favorites—Ana Katarina Fine Jewelry, JETSET Pilates, and MILK MONEY—are joining forces to host a one-day event that feels more like a celebration of self-expression than just a calendar date. Think sparkling studs, movement that strengthens, and fashion that inspires—all woven together in a day designed for community, connection, and personal style.

At the center of it all is the piercing experience itself, led by Giigii, a professional body piercer whose work is as much about artistry as it is about precision. Giigii performed her first piercing at just 16 years old, drawn to the creativity and culture of body modification. Over the last decade, she’s become known for her exacting symmetry, clean technique, and welcoming energy. For her, piercing is more than jewelry placement—it’s about honoring each client’s individuality and sending them out the door feeling elegant, safe, and utterly themselves.

The piercing party is priced at $110 per person plus the cost of the stud (studs must be chosen and purchased in advance), but the event partners have layered in thoughtful extras to make the day even more enticing:

  • Ana Katarina Fine Jewelry will be offering 15% off piercing studs, so you can elevate your new look with designs that balance fine craftsmanship and modern edge.

  • JETSET Pilates is extending 20% off full-priced packages of three or more classes, including their 3-pack ($92), 10-pack ($279), 20-pack ($499), and monthly unlimited option ($299)—the perfect excuse to commit to that fall wellness routine.

  • MILK MONEY is bringing the style, with 20% off all purchases the entire week of October 4th, giving you plenty of time to curate pieces that feel effortlessly chic.

It’s this blend of elegance, wellness, and fashion that makes the event feel special. You don’t just walk away with a piercing—you leave with a new favorite workout plan, a refreshed wardrobe, and a story about the day you said yes to something a little bit different.

So mark your calendars: Saturday, October 4th. A day to explore beauty and wellness, discover new ways of expressing yourself, and celebrate the artistry of both body and style.

I DON'T WANT TO GET A PIERCING, CAN I STILL COME TO THE PARTY?

Of course! This party is welcome to everyone! There will be light bits and refreshments whether you are coming to play around with our jewelry collections or shopping around our variety of other women-owned artists. All are welcome to go to the AK party!

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY NEW PIERCING?

  • Leave your jewelry in your new piercing for 6 weeks or more, even at night. Removing your starter jewelry too early may cause the piercing to close.

  • Keep clean:

    • Always wash your hands before touching newly pierced areas. This helps prevent infection.

    • Gently wash your piercing with a mild, fragrance-free cleanser and water at least once a day. This, too, helps prevent infection.

    • Thoroughly rinse your piercings after washing them. You want to rinse away the soap thoroughly. Be sure to avoid getting water in places like your ear.

    • Avoid cleaning your piercing with hydrogen peroxide or antibacterial soaps, which can damage your healing skin.

    • Using petroleum jelly that comes in a squeeze tube, gently apply a thin coat around each opening. You always want to use a squeeze tube because it will prevent you from transferring germs from an open jar to your piercings. The petroleum jelly will also keep the piercing moist, which is important because a moist wound heals faster.

Keep an eye on your piercing. If the skin around your piercing gets sore, red, or puffy, or a hole oozes yellowish liquid, you may have an infection. See a board-certified dermatologist if any of these don't go away quickly. If the skin around your piercing raises, you may develop a type of scar called a keloid.
