Designed by Tapio Wirkkala in 1972, the Niva shot glasses capture the raw beauty of Finland’s natural landscape. Named after the Finnish word for a sudden river rapid, each glass features a richly textured surface that evokes the movement of rushing water.

Produced until 1992, the much-loved series exemplifies Wirkkala’s ability to transform organic inspiration into sculptural, functional design.
