As the daughter of a world renowned architect and a Whitney awarded painter, her life was immersed and influenced by her parent’s art gallery and artistic colleagues. Her childhood memories are a mosaic of painting next to her mother’s easel, designing paper doll dresses and selling her drawings and semi precious stone necklaces. Throughout the mosaic are also memories of her early passion to understand man’s inhumanity to man.
This blending of arts and politics brought Ana-Katarina to the Balkan war where she worked as a photographer and correspondent. After experiencing the horrors of the war firsthand, she returned to the US for the birth of her first daughter. .Never forgetting the faces and people whose strength had taught her a deeper understanding of humanity, she organized convoys of humanitarian and medical supplies for hospitals in Bosnia and Kosovo. She remains committed to empowering women whose lives have later in Kosovo. She remains forever committed to empowering women whose lives have been shattered by war. A percentage of profits generated by AnaKatarina Eco-Gioielli are donated to the organization “Women for Women. |

Her client list spreads around the globe from the U.S.A. to Europe and the Middle East.

Inspired by the natural world Ana-Katarina transforms nature into attainable design.
